Hi My Name is Sophia Hodges the Founder of TIGRÉSSENCE APPAREL, It began with a passion that started long before fashion, it started with dance. Growing up, I trained in almost every style you could imagine, but Hip Hop quickly became my favourite. As I discovered breakdancing, I was introduced to a culture that was about much more than movement. It was about creativity, confidence, individuality, and self-expression. The way people dressed became part of who they were, and that's when my love for fashion truly began.

Over time, clothing became more than something I wore, it became a way to express myself and tell my story without saying a word. A few years ago, I realised I wanted to create something of my own: a brand that helps others feel confident, authentic, and connected to themselves through what they wear. I wanted to design clothing that not only looks good but feels comfortable, fits effortlessly into every lifestyle, and gives people the confidence to be unapologetically themselves.

As someone who stands at just 4'11", I also know how difficult it can be to find clothing that fits properly without compromising on style. That's why inclusivity is at the heart of TIGRÉSSENCE APPAREL. My vision is to create streetwear for everyone, regardless of style, background, or body type. While making sure us shorties aren't forgotten along the way!!
